מידע כללי

התחום האקדמי המכונה "חינוך" מורכב למעשה ממגוון של שדות מחקר העוסקים במשמעותו של החינוך האישי והחינוך הציבורי מנקודות מבט סוציולוגיות, היסטוריות, פסיכולוגיות, ניהוליות, ועוד. אחד משדות מחקר אלה המכונה בספרות בשם "מינהל החינוך" (ויש המכנים אותו אף בשם מנהיגות חינוכית) עוסק בהבנת תהליכי הארגון והניהול של מוסדות חינוכיים מתוך הבנה כי מוסדות אלה בעלי מאפיינים ייחודיים המחייבים תשומת לב שונה מאשר זו הניתנת לניהולם של ארגונים עסקיים וציבוריים.

עבורי, הבנת תהליכי הניהול והארגון המתנהלים בבתי הספר היא אתגר אמיתי והדרך שבה בחרתי לבחון תהליכים אלה מבוססת על המחקר האיכותני הבוחן את הפרשנויות והתפיסות של האנשים (במקרה שלי מורים, מנהלים וכיוצא בזה) ורואה את המציאות כמורכבת מפרשנויות סובייקטיביות רבות.

אני מאמין כי הידע אותו יוצרים אני וחבריי לתחום מסייע רבות לכל מי שמועסק בבית הספר ובמוסדות חינוכיים מקבילים ומשפר את דרכי הניהול של מוסדות אלה בצורה שיטתית ומשמעותית.
